Fly-Fishing in Paradise

Mountain Sky Trout Pond

Fly-Fishing instruction can serve as an introduction to one of Montana's favorite pastimes, or a chance to hone your skills before heading out on a guided trip. Sessions focus on casting and technique, and our instructor will cover a range of topics. Fly-rods are available for check out anytime you want to head out to the pond, and all pond fishing can be done without a Montana fishing license.

Big Creek Guided Trips

Our guided trips are a great way to spend a morning or afternoon on water just minutes from your cabin. Densely populated by cutthroat and rainbow trout, the creek offers up a great challenge for experienced anglers, and a few pockets of friendlier water for those wishing to take their first trip away from the trout pond.

Yellowstone River Float Trips

It takes only a few minutes on the lazy current of the Yellowstone River, as you alternate between long looks at the surrounding mountains, and longer looks at the cutthroat, brown, and rainbow trout slowly rising to the surface, to realize why the Paradise Valley is a fishing destination for anglers the world over. Let our friends at Angler's West take you on a 1/2 or full day drift boat trip. Be sure to check availability before your stay, as trips can be difficult to book on short notice.
