Come join the team at Montana's premier guest ranch, located just outside of Yellowstone National Park, for the experience of a lifetime! We accept resumes year-round, but interviews will be conducted by phone from January 1 - April 1.
Wrangler: Responsible for leading guests of all abilities on trail rides, providing instruction, caring for the herd and general ranch chores. Western riding experience is a must, as well as knowledge of Western tack and all levels of horse safety measures while riding or on ground. Applicants must provide a short video clearly demonstrating their riding ability if they are unable to do a live riding interview. 3 - 6 month positions available.
Sous Chef: This position will assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including the preparation of hot and cold foods for banquet-style meals, receiving food orders, maintaining the highest in food and sanitation standards, and running the kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence. Must be available to work our full season.
Cook: Responsible for the preparation of hot and cold foods for banquet-style meals, receiving of food orders, and maintaining the highest in food and sanitation standards. 6 and 4 1/2 month positions available.
Golf Groundskeeper: Will perform a diverse range of duties involved in golf course maintenance and construction, including semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, on our 9 hole golf course. 3 - 4 month positions available.
Assistant Basecamp & Challenge Course Manager: Assists the manager with operation and oversight of the Basecamp property and the challenge course. Delivers experiential education and adventure activities for non-profit groups and ranch guests. Ability to perform maintenance duties on property preferred, but will supplement hours in other areas if needed. Challenge course training provided, but related experience and course certification a huge plus.
Guest Services: The ultimate variety job! While rotating primarily through our kids program, dining room and housekeeping department on a shift-to-shift basis, our guest services crew also has the opportunity to help out in other areas based on skill set and interest, including the gift shop, leading hikes, transporting guests to and from the airport, and helping our grounds crew. 3 - 6 month positions available.
Ranch Hand (AMB West): Full-time ranch hand position available April 15, 2017. Candidate must have strong work ethic, self-motivated, detail oriented and willingness to work a varied work schedule based on time of year. Looking for someone mechanically inclined with experience working with livestock operations, knowledgeable with irrigation systems including hand line and wheel line, able to ride horseback in mountainous areas, and ability to successfully maneuver haying equipment including but not limited to tractor, baler, cutter, hay bine and hauler. Additional responsibilities include building, welding and repairing of fences, caring for livestock, monitoring grass/range health, maintenance of ATV’s, truck and ranch equipment.
